初めて製作に取り組んだスリムストレートのデニムパンツ。

ANCELLMとして向き合った時に、何をしようか、どう作ろうか、と随分と試行錯誤しました。

各寸法の調節をミリ単位で繰り返し、アウトシームを少しフロントに持ち出すことで、着用時に脚が綺麗に見える設計として完成しました。

加工面では長年培った技術を元に加工場で忌憚のない意見を交わし、熟練の職人が手作業で加工に当たってくれています。

小穴の一つ一つまでバランスを計算しながらダメージを配置。

手擦りで色を落としたベースカラーに対し、淡色・中色・濃色のそれぞれのレイヤーで色彩のバランスを測りながら独自調合の染料で色を重ね、ブランドの象徴となるムードを生み出しております。

長年培ってきたレシピと、熟練の職人の持つ加工技術の集約。

多くの実験と多くの工程を経ることでようやく生まれる、ANCELLMのコントラストとグラデーション。

Slim straight denim pants, our first attempt at this silhouette.

When approaching this style as ANCELLM, we went through extensive trial and error, considering what to make and how to make it.

By repeatedly adjusting each measurement down to the millimeter and shifting the outseam slightly toward the front, the design was completed with a focus on presenting the leg cleanly when worn.

For the finishing, we exchanged frank opinions with the processing workshop, drawing on techniques refined over many years, and the work is carried out by skilled craftsmen by hand.

Each small hole is placed with careful balance, and damage is applied deliberately.

Onto a base color faded by hand-rubbing, layers of light, medium, and deep tones are built up using custom-mixed dyes, measuring chromatic balance to create a mood that has become emblematic of the brand.

An accumulation of long-refined recipes and the techniques of experienced craftsmen.


Through numerous experiments and processes, ANCELLM’s contrast and gradation are brought to life.
